About us

We are an award winning architectural, interior design and product design practice with specialist experience in planning, building control and particularly licensing. Established in 2001, KBA provides a unique service; a fresh approach to all projects with the ability to deliver planning, architecture, interior design and product design as a comprehensive and seamless package. KBA has executed many projects to successful conclusion throughout the UK.

The initial stage of the design process for KBA is to understand every aspect of the client's operation or lifestyle, making it possible to formulate a business plan. Specialisms

Interior Acoustics
How people interact within spaces is always key to KBA’s design principles and acoustics are an integral part of how interior schemes are created. KBA seek to tune in or out the interior workings employing acoustic specialists to select certain frequencies to reflect, deflect or absorb.

Lighting Design
Lighting is a vital element of any successful design scheme; it creates mood and ambience and works with the other aspects of the design scheme to assist in creating atmosphere. KBA work closely with lighting manufacturers to develop tailored light fittings ensuring that the desired lighting effect and illumination is achieved.
