What is the GF Partnership?
The GF Partnership is a Quantity Surveying consultancy and a leading provider of professional, high quality, interim quantity surveying support and contractual advice to UK main contractors. Over 70 surveyors and specialist consultants are engaged by the company’s three divisions: Pre-Contract, Post-Contract and Contractual.
We have a consistently high number of contract placement opportunities, predominantly based in and around London, Home Counties, South East and the South. We provide support to contractors on medium and long term projects in sectors including commercial, PFI, residential, industrial, urban, retail, leisure, housing, airports and civils. Typical duties undertaken may include forecasting, cash flow forecasts, cost/value reports, valuations, variation accounts, sub-contract procurement and management, re-measurement and final accounts.

We specialise in providing quantity surveying support. Our unique service is known and appreciated by many of the UK’s Top 100 main contractors, giving our surveyors the opportunity to work on varied, interesting and prestigious projects in a location that suits them. Recent projects include:
Some of our surveyors are employed by us on a salaried basis, others prefer to be engaged as freelance, giving them the opportunity to choose when and where they work. Whichever option is selected, we aim to establish a long term relationship, the average length of service for our surveyors being 3.5 years.
How we work...
Before placing a surveyor on assignment, we ensure that we fully understand details of each project in order to match contractor requirements to surveyor or consultant skills and experience. During a commission, we can provide technical support from our in-house management team if required, as well as support to personnel pursuing RICS and CIOB qualifications
We are continually looking for new surveyors to join our team. In addition to excellent rates of pay and placement at a suitable location, we promise to have ongoing contact and consideration of welfare during placement. We also organise regular social meetings so that our surveyors can meet with others to share experiences and best practice.
