Since Donald and Doris Fisher spotted a gap in the jeans market back in 1969, we’ve seen a lot of changes. That’s where the Real Estate Team comes in. They manage Gap’s high quality store portfolio across the UK & Ireland in a variety of towns and cities consisting of a mixture of our Womens, Mens, Kids and Baby brands. They maximise the potential of the existing fleet of stores as well as exploring new property opportunities. Always looking to improve returns and drive new business ventures, they deliver exciting changes to real estate activity through their knowledge and expertise of new retail developments and Gap’s local customers.

This open Management Surveyor position is a critical role dealing with the day to day management of Gap’s 140 store Real Estate portfolio reporting to the Director of Real Estate. The role focuses on driving efficient and effective management of Gap’s Real Estate by minimizing costs, managing landlord related issues, focusing on efficient processes in all areas, and acting as a key interface with other areas of the business.

The successful candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills and experience in a retail environment. Working in a small team this person will be a strong team player who is able to act on their own initiative and provide a quality service to the business.
