It is a small, highly experienced team providing high-value strategic project planning and briefing expertise of complex architectural projects. Abell Nepp assists clients in by providing key strategic design and briefing input to scoping and budgeting studies, options appraisals and business case activities providing a firm, and realistic, base for projects to enable their successful delivery. Working with our clients, their teams and other consultants, we are able to flexibly tailor our services to the project’s needs in a high value, cost effective consultancy. Partnership Profile Chris Abell and Bruce Nepp are both former Directors of global architectural practices specialising in science and higher education facilities. With over 45 years of combined experience, each has a proven track record for delivering successful projects to world-class clients within the UK and internationally. As well as leading and developing the strategic vision of complex projects, Chris and Bruce have been involved in the whole project lifecycle including design, educational/science planning, technical delivery and project management. Chris Abell as a Director of RMJM Architects led the delivery of major projects including the Medical Research Council’s new Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge. Other clients included Glasgow University, University College London, University of Oxford, Syngenta, Eli Lilly, University of York, Institute of Cancer Research and Central University Hong Kong. Bruce Nepp established the UK offices for NBBJ and Anshen Dyer. As Director of Science and Education Facilities, his clients included the Wellcome Trust, Sanger Institute, EMBL / European Bioinformatics Institute, Harvard Medical School / Dubai Healthcare City, and the Universities of Cambridge, Oxford, York, Imperial, Southampton, Queen Mary and King's College London. .
