Senior Architect or Senior Architectural Technician

Hays is delighted to have partnered with one of Scotland's leading and award-winning architectural practices. They are looking to add either a senior architect or senior architectural technologist to join their consistently expanding team, where employees are valued and people are at the heart of their business.

You'll be joining a well-established consultancy, with offices in Glasgow and Inverness. They boast an exceptionally varied portfolio, with work in the commercial, health, education, industrial, community, residential and defence sectors. As the main architects for some of the nation's largest and busiest contractors and one of the go-to design consultancies in defence, the practice offers exceptional security in their workload and makes a committed investment in the development and wellbeing of their team.

They are looking for a talented architect or technologist with good job-running experience on high-value developments, to come in and hit the ground running on a variety of defence-related projects, encompassing anything from accomodation and medical centres to naval bases and airfields.

In This Role, You Will Be Required To:

• Carry projects through to completion once on-site.
• Display a high level of understanding of the architectural cycle across a variety of sector typologies
• Regularly liaise with clients, contractors and consultants
• Produce technical drawings with autonomy
• Use Revit to produce architectural drawings
• Display a high level of understanding of the holistic build cycle.

To Be Considered For This Role, It Is Essential That You:

• Are highly profficient with Revit
• Have good experience on high-value, complex projects from a variety of sectors
• Have good experience job-running
• Be confident and comfortable in site-administration
• Have experience working in a fast-paced background
• Have good experience as a regular point of contact for clients, contractors and consultants.
