Health & Safety Business Partner

Hays Health & Safety is excited to be working exclusively with a Defence Service Contractor who are looking for a HSEQ expert to join their Bid Solutions team and support their work-winning team.

This is a home-based position with travel required to attend meetings taking place in various sites, mostly York, Birmingham and London.

You will work alongside Bid Managers, Writers and Operational Subject-Matter Experts to develop HSE solutions in line with client specifications, contributing to the growth of the facilities business.

Your new role

• Develop Innovative HSEQ solutions aligned to customer needs and implement them within bid responses and customer presentations
• Support the team in the expansion of HSEQ knowledge in the bid solution process
• Actively participate in bid meetings and workshops
• Write high-quality bid responses that consistently meet deadlines.
• Work well with the wider HSEQ teams across the facilities and business to develop a detailed understanding of best practice.

What you will need

• NEBOSH Diploma, Degree or equivalent in Health & Safety
• IOSH Membership
• Experience of producing high-quality bid responses, reports and presentations
• The ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Willingness to travel to sites across the UK where required.

Experience working in the defence sector would be desirable.
