Quantity Surveyor

Our client
Hays is working with a well-established fitout contractor in the Liverpool area who is in need of a talented and reliable freelance Quantity Surveyor / Estimator. As QS, you will be joining an excellent and competitive commercial team for a long period of time, and overseeing several projects, both pre and post contract.

As QS / Estimator you will:

• Oversee various stages of live projects
• Be heavily involved in precontract tenders
• Oversee final accounts
• Manage all variations and valuations
• Prepare and submit regular reports on project financials
• Carry out site visits in the Liverpool area approx once a month

What you'll need:

• Previous commercial management experience
• Experience within the commercial build or fitout industry is desirable
• Based locally in the Liverpool area
• Efficient in both pre and post-contract work
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Previous UK experience is essential
