The Local Authority is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Surveyor to lead their acquisitions and disposals programme, driving strategic property development initiatives and maximising the value of their land holdings.

Your new role

• Lead a team of surveyors focused on property acquisition, disposal, and strategic development.
• Maximise the value of the Council's land holdings and secure development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance and achieve the Council's strategic objectives.
• Implementing acquisition and disposal strategies aligned with the Council's goals.
• Oversee the development process from feasibility to completion.
• Identify opportunities, conduct due diligence, negotiate terms, and manage legal processes.
• Conduct market research and property appraisals.
• Build relationships with external stakeholders and represent the Council.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

Member or Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Local Authority experience in a similar role.
