We are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of mechanical building services, specialising in a diverse range of projects including warehouses and large residential properties. With project values up to £7 million, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality, innovative solutions tailored to their clients' needs.
Your new role
As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical building services projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical building services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical building services projects. 📊
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare estimates. 📐
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient cost estimation. 🤝
• Utilise the CYPHER system for estimating and project management. 💻
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations. 🔍
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures. 📋
• Assist in the development and implementation of estimating standards and workflows. 🛠️

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in the building services industry. 🏢
• Previous experience with the CYPHER system is beneficial but not essential. 💻
• Strong understanding of mechanical building services. 🔧
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 🗣️
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. ⏰
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. ✔️
