Associate Structural Engineer

A fantastic opportunity for an Associate Structural Engineer with strong technical experience at senior level. You will work within a large-scale leading multidisciplinary consultancy who offer supportive and flexible working arrangements and who are dedicated to accommodating employees' needs.
Your new role

• Technical responsibility for structural engineering design delivery
• Identify opportunities, lead and support business development and work winning / bidding activities.
• Establish, develop and maintain relationships with key and prospective clients.
• Line Management and technical development and growth of our structural engineering team.
• Client and stakeholder interface.
• Co-ordination and management of other disciplines inputs into projects.
• Take financial responsibility for the structural fees on projects.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer
• Client-facing and business development skills, or an aspiration to develop them
• Extensive post-graduate experience in major structural engineering building projects
• Proven track record in design delivery from concept to detailed delivery
• Detailed knowledge of design codes and standards relating to structural engineering.
• Detailed knowledge and experience of 2D and 3D design software packages and suitability for their use at project level.
