Senior Principal Designer / CDM Consultant – Manchester or Liverpool

The Construction Health and Safety team of this leading property & construction consultancy is an expanding group of technically skilled specialists in the provision of CDM related services including Principal Designer; Principal Designer Support Services and CDM Advisor.

They work across the UK with a wide range of both new and longstanding clients within businesses and in sectors as diverse as residential, commercial, retail, office, advanced manufacturing, leisure, hotel, sport, science, industry and education.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a highly successful consultancy which is going through an exciting period of growth and can be based in either our Liverpool or Manchester offices.

As a Senior Principal Designer/CDM Advisor, you will be a key member of this close-knit team. Your knowledge and skills will contribute to the growth and success of their work together delivering robust solutions to meet their clients’ health and safety objectives, aims and aspirations.

You will have extensive experience of overseeing the design risk management process including running CDM workshops with the skillset to challenge designers to ensure safe methods of construction are established during the pre-construction phase.

As well as an in depth knowledge of the CDM regulations and associated legislation you will possess NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similar technical or professional qualification and be an Associate member of the Association for Project Safety or/and technical membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
