Buildings and Capital Projects Manager

You will be working for a council in Lancashire
Your new role
You will lead the Councils Buildings & Asset Management team including the setting, recording and implementation of all maintenance and repairs (reactive & planned) and all statutory compliance matters.
You will lead the development and delivery of specific projects and wider programmes that contribute to the Council Plan.
You will manage Council wide and cross cutting project teams and to manage appointed external suppliers to ensure successful programme and project delivery.
You will undertake the development and implementation of external funding bids and lead on the procurement and management of some significant contracts and/or several smaller contracts usually all at the same time and throughout all the project life-cycle stages.
What you'll need to succeed
BSc or equivalent in a construction/ property related discipline
What you'll get in return
£250-£350 per hour umbrella
Hybrid working
37.5 hours per week
