A leading provider of electrical installations, is seeking a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The company pride ourselves on delivering quality electrical solutions while prioritising sustainability, usability, and value for money. Their installations add value and save energy, utilising smart components from trusted suppliers. They engineer projects to reduce energy consumption during installation and use, and we prefabricate off-site whenever possible.
Your new roleAs a Junior Electrical Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in our projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Cost Estimation: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical installations.
Material Procurement: Assist in sourcing materials, evaluating suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Bid Preparation: Prepare bids and proposals for electrical projects, considering labour, materials, and other relevant factors.
Project Documentation: Maintain accurate records, track project progress, and update cost databases.
Communication: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather necessary information for estimates.
What you'll need to succeed

• Education: A relevant degree or diploma in electrical engineering and or electrical experience in an estimating role
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills to assess project requirements accurately.
• Communication Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Organisational Abilities: Excellent time management and multitasking skills.

• Salary: Up to Circa. £33,000 per year.
