Your new company This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious council who have exciting visions for regeneration in Bracknell and surrounding areas in Berkshire. Your work in this role will be pivotal in delivering these positive improvements - this is your opportunity to make a tangible change through your work

Your new role You will support the review of the council's property assets, across both operational and commercial portfolios. This means, that you'll be able to use your expertise to provide the council with a better understanding of the use of buildings, recommending options for investment, disposal, and also income generation!


This role will allow you to devise, support, and manage a reconfiguration of ow the services occupy the property assets, taking a holistic view to improve service provision and enable the release of buildings and parcels of land where appropriate.


You will help to support the delivery of asset management to the council's property assets, assisting with a commercial approach to the estate through actioning rent reviews and lease renewals.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in commercial property asset management, confident in making recommendations regarding the portfolio.
  • Experience of policy writing and delivery of asset management strategies.
  • Experience in acquisitions and disposals of significant property interests.
  • Good knowledge of landlord and tenant estate management law.


What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a 24-month salaried contract, which is an initial time period with high possibility of further extension or progression into a permanent role. You will receive a salary of £56,721 per year + £689 London weighting taking your salary to £57,410 per year. In addition, you will be able to enrol into the local government pension scheme, generous annual leave, and you'll be able to work flexibly on a hybrid basis across the duration of your role.
