Senior/ Principal Engineer

What's on offer?

• Role as a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer with a multidisciplinary C&S consultancy in Wakefield, working alongside 25 staff, who are looking to expand their team due to sustained growth
• Varied projects - Design small projects up to a few £1,000 and a 1 million sqft warehouse, the largest in the UK for a global supermarket valued up to £150 million; other projects include private estates, hotels, cinemas, residential and high-rise tower projects
• Lead your own team - Responsible for a team of 5 engineers and technicians, running your own project from concept through to completion
• Grow within an established team - Comprehensive CPD course, both internal and external seminars offered, financial support for academic and professional qualifications and a strong mentoring environment for all staff
• Competitive package - Up to £50,000 for a Senior and up to £60,000 for a Principal pa, annual discretionary bonus, flexible working hours, hybrid working), company pension, sponsorship and support with professional qualifications, 25 days annual leave, quarterly company social events and much more!

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 7 years of UK structural consultancy experience
• Strong design experience across a range of sectors, using Tekla Tedds and other design software
• A drive to succeed and the ambition to lead, develop and mentor a young team
• Chartership is not a requirement and will be fully supported with, however, it will help with accessing a higher salary band
