Estimator (Build)

Hays Construction & Property are delighted to be working alongside this growing Contractor & Developer in recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join the team. With significant growth in turnover and investment planned for 24/25 and beyond, this is a fantastic opportunity to join this team

Reporting to the Senior Leadership team, you'll have a solid Construction background, and ideally worked within New Build Mid/High Rise Developments previously

You'll be an experienced and accomplished Estimator and be able to bring your wealth of experience and expertise to enjoy and support the growth of the business. This is a new role for the business so with the full backing of the Directors, you'll have full autonomy to make this your own and make this position exactly how you want it!

You'll be tasked with all the usual duties, including:

• Pricing from first principles
• Producing tenders for submission
• Compiling take-offs
• Supporting with new enquiries and opportunities
• Completing accurate bid documentation
• Liaising with all project stakeholders, incl Design Teams and Architects, Local Authorities, Planners and associated Subcontractors
• Working closely with the relevant construction project teams
