Quantity Surveyor

Hays are looking for an intermediate level quantity surveyor to support a project in Devonport Dockyard.
The role would last until the end of the year, but there is a possibility of an extension.
You would be working with a well known contractor and the role would be hybrid across the office and the dockyard.
As a result, you will need to be able to pass BPSS and SC clearance.
Some of your responsibilities may include

• Supporting with invoices and costs
• Liasing with client
• Placing sub-contractor orders
• Payments
• Value & Change management
• Risk management

What would we need from you?

• Some experience in a similar environment would be desirable, but not essential.
• Knowledge of construction sites and commercial builds
• Ability to commit to the length of contract
• Reliable
