Senior Estimator – Developer

One of the UK’s leading residential developers is currently seeking a Senior Estimator to join their Commercial team in the North West.

As a Senior Estimator, you’ll be at the heart of their Delivery function, analysing cost plans and producing cost-effective estimates for various developments. This is a brand-new role, offering a unique opportunity to make your mark and become a key player in their Commercial team.

Key Responsibilities will include;

Cost Analysis: Evaluate cost plans produced by Costing Managers to ensure estimates meet business needs.

Budget Development: Collaborate with team members to align budgets with build strategies.

Tender Preparation: Prepare take-offs, Bills of Quantities, and tender adjudication packs. Present tender basis, key assumptions, and identify risks and opportunities.

Cross-functional Liaison: Work with various internal departments to review drawings, specifications, and client requirements, ensuring compliance with BSI/ISO building regulations.

You will be a confident, experienced estimator with a thorough understanding of the estimating process from start to finish with a good knowledge of estimating software packages.
