They are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Design Engineer with 1 year of Building Services experience to join their team.

Your new role

  • Ensuring an understanding of project briefs. Design and specification of Mechanical Building Services systems
  • Design and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems
  • Carry out in the production of detailed calculations using industry standard software tools including Revit, Autocad, Hevacomp, IESVE, etc.
  • Representing the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors.
  • Site surveys, inspections and monitoring of site works.
  • Report and technical note writing.
  • Adherence to all quality, environmental and governance processes.



What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related subjects.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Mechanical design engineering on Building Services projects.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical systems and building codes.
  • Some experience working in a design consultancy and/or experience of working within a contractor design environment is essential.
  • Have knowledge of appropriate technical standards.
  • Communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
