A longstanding textile company based in Salisbury is looking for a part-time Accounts Administrator to join their team. This organisation has established themselves as a leader in the production of high-quality technical textiles. Your new role
In this role, you'll handle the company's financial transactions to ensure everything runs smoothly. Your main tasks will include promptly processing sales invoices, receiving payments from customers, and managing overdue accounts according to our policies. You'll also set and monitor credit limits for customers, reconcile financial ledgers monthly, and ensure all supplier invoices are settled on time.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including cash transactions, petty cash, fixed assets, and payroll. You'll prepare for VAT submissions and annual audits and keep all documents well-organised. Your role is vital to our financial health, and you may be asked to take on other tasks as needed to support the team.
The position is part-time, with a total of 27 hours worked throughout the week.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would bring a wealth of experience in bookkeeping, with a strong preference for those skilled in Sage Line 50 software. They should be methodical, dependable, insightful, and trustworthy, capable of both independent work and collaboration within a team setting.

A generous 25 days of annual leave which increases with length of service, in addition to the standard bank holidays. The annual leave schedule includes a festive break during Christmas week, allowing our team to fully enjoy the season.
