As a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager, you will join a small, not-for-profit organisation boasting a family feel and an inclusive culture. Your new role
You will lead repair and void functions, providing a high quality, value for money, and a customer-focused maintenance service.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the maintenance strategy, policy, and procedures in-line with wider visions and objectives.
  • Deliver reactive ad void repairs to the required standard, on-time, and within budget, controlling materials and equipment, procuring suppliers and contractors as required.
  • Devise and implement relevant health & safety procedures, managing risks to staff, customers, and subcontractors.
  • Provide effective leadership to the property services team, supervising the direct labour force and external contracts.

In addition to the above, you will have an opportunity to contribute to a strategic plan, including asset management and carbon-reduction activities.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to be a natural leader of people, with the ability to effectively lead and supervise all members of the maintenance team - this will include providing toolbox talks, safety briefings, and annual performance reviews. As sound and comprehensive knowledge of property maintenance, ideally within a social housing environment, will also be important.
