The business prides itself on building long-term relationships, whilst offering a streamlined and efficient approach to commercial development. Its aim is to deliver an operator-led development model, offering a full cycle service to their tenants from site sourcing, project management and asset management.

Typically, projects will range in value between £300k - £2.5M, seeing you involved in all aspects of the design process from inception to completion. You will contribute with excellent coordination skills, attention to detail, and work collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of projects, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities will include -

  • Assist the Design Manager in overseeing all aspects of the design process from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project documentation, such as project charters, project schedules, risk registers, and change control logs.
  • Carry out project planning, coordinating and administration, ensuring project documents are properly organised, version controlled, and accessible to project team members.
  • Help develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and projects stay on track.
  • Conduct research and gather relevant information to support design decisions.
  • Aid in the management of design resources, including budgets, materials.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Assist in managing stakeholder expectations and resolving conflicts to ensure project success.
  • Work effectively with external resources, such as Architects, Main Contractors and Consultants.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Relevant experience as a Project Coordinator / Design Coordinator, from within a construction environment.
  • Experience of being involved in a variety of construction related projects.
  • Knowledge of the construction process, including design and project administration.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with an ability to plan and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of Project Management software tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A positive and driven attitude, demonstrating team player attributes.
