Your new company
We are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst on a permanent basis to join our client based in Leatherhead. This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week on site with 3 days from home. The office is easily accessible, with free parking on site and great local transport links. This role is to replace someone who has recently been promoted internally from the Service Desk to the Infrastructure team, so this is a great opportunity for someone to further progress their IT Support skills with plenty of training and development on offer.
Your new role
You'll be joining a team of 8 Service Desk Analysts, a Team Leader and a Service Desk Manager who provide support to 5000 internal customers. We are looking for someone with previous experience of working on a busy service desk, able to provide excellent customer service to users, with a proactive can-do attitude. You will be joining a friendly and sociable team who work hard and have fun.
The Service Desk core working hours Monday - Friday between 8:30 - 4:30 or 9:30 - 5:30 with an early finish on Fridays and no out of hours support or travel required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience working on a Service Desk providing 1st line support across Windows, Azure, O365, AD, Exchange and if you also have experience with ServiceNow, this would be very advantageous, but is not essential. The majority of incidents are raised through the self-service portal, although some urgent issues are also managed through calls to the service desk.
We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills and a great telephone manner, someone who can manage their own time effectively, working to resolve as many first line issues as possible, escalating as needed to the 2nd line and infrastructure teams.
As mentioned, the organisation looks to promote internally, so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their technical support skills in this supportive team and you'll have access to future opportunities in the infrastructure team/ wider business if you are looking to progress your IT career.

What you'll get in return
Salary of up to £30,000 plus a great benefits package including, private medical, 8% employer pension contribution, starting annual leave of 26 days, leave plus bank holidays (34 in total initially), numerous retail discounts for staff, access to staff wellbeing and wellness hub, and industry-leading maternity and paternity leave, as well as lots of support, learning and career development.
