Our client supply quality construction works to their clients and main contractors throughout Scotland. They operate in the stonemasonry, construction and refurbishment and conservation sector amongst many other areas. They believe in working in close partnership with their clients, developing trust and delivering contracts on time and to an excellent standard.Their recent projects include stonework and external repairs to a former manor house and refurbishment to important listed structures. They continually strive to exceed their clients' expectations.

Your new role

As one of their new projects commences, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Site Manager. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in running a programme and overseeing all elements in the construction process. The project is the external renovation of an old-style Edinburgh building - including stone works and facade repairs/refurbishments.As Site Manager, it is essential you have experience leading a construction project and any experience in a similar job is preferred.Duties

• Carrying out set up and progress meetings.
• Ensuring the packages are on program and managing the on-site team.
• Ensuring H&S is followed.
• Proactive, driven and well-organised.
• Managing materials

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience of managing construction projects is essential. You will also have a professional approach and the ability to fit in well immediately with a productive site and management team. You will be a confident leader and be comfortable holding progress meetings. SMSTS, Black or Gold CSCS card, First Aid, are essential.
