Contract Manager (Voids) - East Devon

Your new role
You will join a property & assets team in a newly created role, providing an opportunity to really make this position your own over a period of time. You'll manage a small team and work with contractors and colleagues to ensure that empty homes are effectively managed and are compliant, whilst reducing the key to key times and minimising rent loss. You will meet regularly with contractors, agree specifications, and ensure delivery is completed on time and within budget.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have a higher national certificate or equivalent in a building related subject, or significant experience of managing staff and contractors responsible for the repair and maintenance of social landlord housing stock. At interview, you will need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of CDM and building regulations, and a working knowledge of health and safety, gas safety, fire safety and asbestos regulations.
