Assistant Management Accountant

A well established and exciting manufacturing company based in the West Mansfield region which has a busy and high performing Accounting and Finance department requires maternity cover support.


Your new role
As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant and wider team as well as;

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports
• Provide support to the finance team
• Prepare and action, re-charges for company services / invoices.
• Act as a first point of contact and resolve day to day issues
• Working with the wider global team to gain approvals and reporting

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Accounting practice & procedures and ledger systems.
• Basic understanding of formulating budgets for a department or project
• AAT, NVQ4 or working towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, tec)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
