Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a privately owned, niche PQS practice with a 25-year history of delivering construction projects throughout the UK and overseas.

With a strong project pipeline in tow, they’re seeking to expand the practice with the addition of a key Senior Quantity Surveyor or young Associate appointment. Employing 10 technical staff, this is a critical hire, and the position will concentrate on supporting ‘hands on’ Directors whilst inspiring other project running and APC training staff, mentoring along the way.

It’s a ‘hands on’ position, so you will be project running in the traditional fashion – working with private clients, developers, institutions, investors on bespoke design commercial & super high end residential projects alongside smaller schemes in retail, industrial, sports & leisure. Current projects are typically between £1-20m (JCT).

Candidates wishing to apply must be dynamic in character and have tangible leadership qualities, you must have a minimum of 8 years current PQS experience with a good network of contacts within the London market. Ideally you’ll be MRICS (UK accredited) too albeit not essential as compared to relevant experience !

Starting salary guide to c£80,000 basic (dependent on experience) + car allowance + private health + Pension + flexible working + 24 days holiday pa.
