Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civils)

Hays Civil Engineering are delighted to be working alongside this experienced Civil Engineering Contractor in recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Commercial team

Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will have responsibility for being involved with, and delivering a diverse range of Civils & Rail schemes

Specialising across the wide range of Civils, typical projects will include:

• Civil Engineering & Groundworks
• Rail
• Industrial

Typical duties will include:

• Procuring packages of work, and awarding subcontractor agreements
• Procurement of subcontractors
• Preparing payments for subcontractors
• Producing CVR's and cash flow analysis
• Measurements and variations
• Valuations and payments
• Procurement
• Responsibility for mentoring a junior member of the team
• Stakeholder Management

To be successful in your application, you must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a Civils Contractor wanting to step-up to Senior, or be an existing Senior QS looking for a new opportunity

You will have strong knowledge of NEC Contracts and be proficient in your understanding
