Your New Role
As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our client's Microsoft ecosystem. Your focus will be on building, maintaining, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines, establishing and configurating automations, and scripting, primarily on the Infrastructure side. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) would be a main focus for this role. You'll collaborate closely with the client's core infrastructure team and development team, automating the migration of on-premises services to Azure. Additionally, you'll build and maintain robust container environments for development teams on various projects. Your expertise in infrastructure, Azure DevOps, and microservices will be critical to success.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Proficiency in Infrastructure: A deep understanding of infrastructure principles, best practices, and architecture. A strong background as an Infrastructure Engineer / Architect would be an advantage.
• Azure DevOps Experience: Demonstrated experience with Azure DevOps, including setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing releases, and optimising workflows.
• Tech Stack: Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), ARM templates, and PowerShell scripting.
• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between infrastructure and development.
• Problem-Solving Skills: A knack for troubleshooting and finding efficient solutions.
• Familiarity with Boutique Fund House Environment: Experience working in a mid-sized investment management firm, where the close-knit, family-office atmosphere is valued.
