Your new role:Position: Architectural Technician

• Location: Edinburgh
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in architectural practice
• Role: You will play a pivotal role in our design and construction process, translating concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other team members to develop comprehensive architectural plans.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with contractors during construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Utilise your technical proficiency to solve design challenges and optimise functionality.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Architectural Technician in the UK.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
