Your new company
Hays have exclusively partnered with an esteemed wine distribution and wholesale company. They are a leading UK premium distributor, with a portfolio of thousands of wines and spirits. Their client base includes some of the most luxury hotels, event venues, and restaurants.

Your new role

  • Brand Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive brand strategies in alignment with company objectives, market trends, and consumer preferences. Identify key target markets and positioning strategies for each brand within the portfolio.
  • Product Portfolio Management: Manage the entire product portfolio for a specific region, while building the UK Market.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape. Utilise market insights to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Main person between the supplier and sales teams
  • Brand Communication: Develop clear and consistent brand messaging across all channels, including digital platforms, traditional media, and in-person interactions. Ensure brand messaging is aligned with brand values and resonates with target consumers.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, wineries, distributors, and other stakeholders, and enhance brand visibility.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales tools, training materials, and presentations to support sales efforts and drive distribution. Provide guidance and support to sales representatives to ensure effective brand representation in the market.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximise ROI. Monitor expenses, track performance metrics, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve budgetary goals.


What you\'ll need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand management, preferably within the wine or beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and marketing analytics tools.
  • Passion for wine and appreciation for the artistry and craftsmanship behind each bottle.
