Site Manager

Your new company
In your role as Site Manager you will be working for a construction company who are operating as a Main Contractor on a new build construction project in Moray. You will be the sole site manager on the project, overseeing all work on a day-to-day basis. This is a temporary assignment for up to 6 months and offers an immediate start.


Your new role


As Site Manager, you will have the responsibility of managing on-site trades and subcontractors, ensuring the site runs safely and efficiently, ensuring the quality of the work is completed to a high standard and runs in line with the desired programme. Your duties will also include organising materials and plant for the site. Working with the Contracts Manager and the Quantity Surveyor, you will provide updates on work completed on the project and advise on any unforeseen additional costs or issues. You will complete site documentation, review risk assessments and any permits required. You will work Monday to Friday, be paid on an hourly rate and be paid weekly via Hays.
What you\'ll need to succeed


This role requires an experienced Site Manager who has a track record of delivering new build projects. You will need to be an excellent communicator, IT literate and have a strong knowledge of construction trades. You must hold an SMSTS and CSCS card for this site. Ideally, you will have experience of internal fit out works and a good eye for detail on a busy site.

This role offers an immediate start for the right individual and the contract length could be up to 6 months. You will be paid weekly via Hays and receive a competitive hourly rate. Ideally, you will be based in the Elgin or Moray area as there is no accommodation or subsistence in this role.
