We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor/Electrical Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team based in Ipswich. Responsibilities:

  • Pricing projects accurately and competitively, considering labour, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Overseeing electrical works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors, ensuring their work meets quality standards and project timelines.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project coordination and communication.
  • Managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to the project team, resolving technical issues, and ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing appropriate safety measures, and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and incorporating them into project planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical supervision or electrical contracts management within the commercial construction sector.
  • Proven track record in pricing projects and managing electrical works on commercial projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in using electrical estimating software and project management tools.
  • Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
  • Valid driving licence.
