Your new role
This role sits within a privately owned, small business with an exceptional moral compass and strong sense of social responsibility. The entire team share a sense of purpose, common goal and strong ethics. This role would suit someone who has strong technical and commercial skills, and someone who is motivated by making a difference as you will be involved with projects that sit in the heart of central Birmingham communities.

Within this role you will be leading the contract management of a key client in the West Midlands, whilst also leading a small team. Your duties will include controlling expenditure, producing financial forecasts and reports, oversight of supplier performance, day to day management of the contact, procurement, and cash flow management.
This role is a remote position that will require travel twice per month to the company\'s Head Office as well as regular visits to sites across the West Midlands as required. Within this role you will have full autonomy around time management and will be able to work flexibly.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need experience in contract management and a background in quantity surveying, building surveying, or facilities management.
You will also have a strong commercial awareness, the ability to deliver contracts efficiently and effectively, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a solid understanding of contractor procurement and supply chain management.
