Claims Associate

Your new company
Your new company is an international Lloyds Insurance and Reinsurance Broker with a fantastic, well established reputation within the Lloyds Insurance market based in the heart of the City of London, who is looking for a Marine or Non-Marine Claims Associate to join their high-performing team. You will be working in a hybrid Claims role in a fantastic brand within the insurance industry offering very generous benefits, hybrid working and further training towards professional qualifications. The ideal role for a Claims professional with previous Claims experience who is looking to take their next step in their Claims career.
Your new role
In your new role you will be expected to handle all claims generated by the business both on an individual and BDX basis, produce new claims files and related documentation and negotiate the settlement of claims with insurers via their relevant London market systems. You will also need to be able to liaise with lawyers and adjusters on a regular basis and be capable of regularly updating clients on the nature of their claims as and when required.
You will also need to be able to undertake client visits, partake in client meetings, provide relevant claims statistics and maintain all workflow systems when required. You will also need to maintain an effective diary system and coordinate with the finance team in order to manage claims and payments in relation to the business.
What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will ideally have 2 years+ Lloyds London market experience within a Lloyds Insurance broker and will be a great team player, with an enthusiastic and ambitious attitude. You will have experience in handling both Marine and Non-Marine Claims for a Lloyds Broker and will be looking to take on more responsibility as a Claims associate within a successful and forward-thinking broker.
