Your new company
You will work for a critical part of the wider NHS service in the United Kingdom who are responsible for the continuous maintenance and development of operational NHS owned property across the wider Southwest region to include Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol and Swindon.
Your new role
Using a background within building surveying or estates management, you will lead the undertaking of stock condition surveys across operational buildings. These surveys will be undertaken using a CAFM system and a tablet, allowing you to enter property data electronically as you work. Properties are of varying levels of quality, and will include offices, kitchens, garage doors, emergency rooms and other communal spaces - your surveys will include inspection of both building fabric and M&E components.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position you will need to have a background working in a building surveying role or similar, ideally in a position which has required the undertaking of stock condition surveys - you must possess excellent levels of attention to detail, and the ability to accurately collect date which will be used to formulate multi-million pound programmes of work in the future.
What you'll get in return
In return you will receive an hourly rate of between £25 - £27 per hour (umbrella). You'll be able to work 37 hours per week flexibly, with two home working days available each week. In addition part-time working options are also available (30 hours per week).
