MEP Coordinator/Engineer

Your new company
Our client is an award winning main contractor who specialise in the conversion of old and tired city centre buildings into fantastic residential, hospitality or leisure facilities. With a busy 2024 already planned, they are seeking to appoint an MEP coordinator/engineer to join their business.
Your new role
As MEP Coordinator/Engineer you will be supporting the MEP lead in the delivery of a £30million development in the middle of Edinburgh. You will work closely with your subcontractors ensuring they are progressing their package of works in line with the overall project program and smoothing out any quality, technical or design issues along the way. You will be an integral part of a really strong delivery team on-site and deploy your technical knowledge in ensuring the MEP packages are completed on time and budget.


What you'll need to succeed
Our client is very open on experience, and you will get the opportunity to work with an MEP expert to develop your career in Building Services Management. You could be an engineer or supervisor with a reputable subcontractor (electrical or mechanical) seeking to step into working for a main contractor, or you could be working on the design side but have a real interest in applying your technical expertise in a more practical site-based environment. Our client is also open to talking to ambitious tradespeople who have exceptional project experience and are seeking to apply their experience to an off-the tools position. Beyond your technical skill set, you must have exceptional communication skills and have an ambition to progress your career into building services management.
