Your new company
Our client are a well known contractor who have built up a strong brand for project delivery across the publicly funded project sector ( education , leisure , community etc) over the last 10 years. Having just won multiple new projects they are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Project Manager to deliver in the first instance an education project in the Central Belt.


Your new role
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the full delivery of this project. From reporting upwards to the Contracts Director to managing the site team ( Site Manager , Foreman and Engineer) you will be the key person in the delivery of this project. This project is £7million in value and it involves the full refurbishment of an existing educational facility so experience within the refurbishment sector would be advantageous. Our client work across new build and refurbishment sectors so a broad range of experience would be ideal.

As PM you will also manage the relationship with the client ensuring they and their team of external stakeholders are communicated with effectively and positively.

What you\'ll need to succeed
Our client are a leading contractor who see themselves as developing expert construction managers. The ideal candidate will be from a construction background with a degree in construction management or similar. You will have experience of working for a main contractor as a PM or Site Manager and have a background in construction within publicly funded projects such as schools, leisure centres or similar. This could be an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and professional site manager to progress their career towards Project Management.
