Estimator

Hays Construction & Property are delighted to be working alongside this established Construction Contractor in supporting their recruitment for an Estimator to join the team. With significant growth in turnover planned for 2023/24, this stable business is incredibly well run, with an exciting leadership team in position

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll be joining their experienced Commercial team and also support the responsibility for the development and progression of a junior member of the team

You'll be from a Construction background, and ideally worked with Social Housing Developers previously, on new build housing developments

You'll be tasked with all the usual Estimating duties, including:

• Estimating from First Principles
• Producing tenders for bids
• All costing, estimates and submissions to tender
• Producing accurate documents for works subcontract packages
• Stakeholder management with all associated bodies involved in the accurate tender bid and submission

Ideally, you will have knowledge of working with Estimating software packages, as you will have the autonomy to implement this into the business, to enable a streamlined Estimating function
