Job Opportunity: Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager


Position: Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager (Agency Contract) Location: Merseyside, United Kingdom Hours: 35 hours per week Duration: 3 to 6 months Hourly Rate: £15 - £18 per hour


About Us: We are an established agency specialising in providing quality housing services for our community. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents in a retirement living scheme.


Responsibilities: As a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retirement living scheme. Your duties will include:

• Resident Support: Providing support and assistance to residents, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort.
• Property Management: Managing the maintenance and upkeep of the housing scheme, including common areas and individual units.
• Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments, and addressing any safety concerns promptly.
• Community Engagement: Facilitating social activities, promoting a sense of community, and organising events for residents.
• Coordination: Liaising with external agencies, contractors, and service providers to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Administration: Maintaining accurate records, handling enquiries, and managing administrative tasks related to the scheme.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Experience: Previous experience in housing management, social care, or a related field.
• Compassion: A genuine desire to support and enhance the lives of older adults.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding solutions.
