Neighbourhood Housing Officer

Position: Housing Officer Contract Type: Temporary (Agency)
Hours: 35 hours per week Location: Manchester / Hybrid (2 to 3 days per week in office or on patch)
Hourly Rate: £18 - £22 per hour


Responsibilities:

• Tenant Support: Assist tenants with housing-related queries, maintenance requests, and tenancy agreements.
• Property Management: Oversee property inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with residents and local communities.
• Rent Collection: Monitor rent payments and address arrears.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with housing regulations and policies.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous housing officer experience preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to handle challenging situations and find practical solutions.
• Organisational Skills: Manage workload efficiently and prioritise tasks.
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
