Secondary school Attendance Officer

Your new company
A secondary school in South Birmingham B45 is looking for interim support in attendance. The role will be Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm. The role is to commence ASAP.

Your new role
You will be carrying out the daily duties of an Attendance Officer, logging calls to parents, collating attendance data, updating the school management system and liaising with Heads of Year and Senior Leadership over attendance. You will be involved in arranging meetings with parents and pupils and flagging up and monitoring for any safeguarding issues amongst the cohort. You will also produce attendance reports and management data for senior leadership. You will also support the office with general admin duties.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of dealing with school attendance and the processes around this and using SIMS to update pupil records in relation to attendance. Hays Education will be able to obtain recent satisfactory references that reflect that experience. An enhanced DBS will be required.
