As part of this vision the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea are expanding their Property Services team and are now looking for an experienced Housing Maintenance Surveyor to join the team to help deliver the best possible service for their residents.
As the successful surveyor your job will be to undertake site inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislations. Provide appropriate professional expertise in all aspects of housing building surveying including the assessment of long-term maintenance strategies. You will liaise with contractors to manage works as required to maintain properties to a high standard. The job will involve direct interaction with residents to ensure that they are kept fully informed of any maintenance issues and the progress of repairs if required.

It is essential that you are a qualified Building Surveyor, with a HNC degree or equivalent.
If you are CIOB or RICS it will enhance your application, however being chartered is not essential.
You will need to be an experienced maintenance surveyor and be able to demonstrate your skills in identifying maintenance issues, show your capabilities when it comes to managing contractors and have an excellent track record of customer service.
Reporting writing skills with proficient IT skills to match are essential parts of the job.
