Head of Finance

Your new company
This established organisation with deep roots across Southern England seek to evolve their business in the coming years. The company are looking to grow both organically and via acquisition and therefore seeks a figurehead at the top of their finance function to drive the performance of the business through the utilisation of insights and management information.
Your new role
As the Head of Finance, you will oversee the end to end finance function whilst leading a team to produce exceptional results when it comes to financial management. You and your team will be responsible for producing the monthly and yearly figures, putting together the forecasts and budgets across the group whilst ensuring the business implements and enhances rigorous financial controls to mitigate the company from any risk. You will work with the senior operational leadership team to understand their needs and work towards providing a better suite of management insights by analysing the data held within the company in order to maximise revenue and optimise costs.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a recognised qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) and demonstrate a hands on approach which suits an SME environment where the need is there to roll up your sleeves. Furthermore, your track record will evidence the impact you have had on a growing business especially around automation and improvements to the delivery of management information. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate that they have already been on a growth journey with an ambitious business already.
