Compliance Manager

you will be working for an innovative and fast-growing company which designs, manufactures and supplies specialist roofing systems. They supply Tier 1 construction companies, roofing contractors and the solar industry.
Your new role
The Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. They will play a critical role in identifying compliance risks, developing compliance programs, and implementing controls to mitigate these risks. This position requires strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to maintain the highest standards of compliance within the organization. The key objective is for the organisation to be consistently 100% ‘audit ready'.
What you'll need to succeed
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Proven experience in compliance management
In-depth knowledge of relevant H&S law and regulations pertaining to sheet metal manufacturing
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across all departments
In-depth understanding of construction industry standards and regulations
Excellent understanding of reporting procedures and record-keeping
Project management skills and the ability to be methodical and diligent
Prior experience of compliance in ISO9001, ISO14001
Knowledge of CDM regulations
In depth knowledge of GDPR regulations and requirements
Ideally three or more years experience in a similar role
