Your new role
My client are looking for an experienced and reliable site manager to oversee the refurbishment of a distribution centre in Carlisle. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.


As a site manager, you will:


Plan and coordinate the site activities, including labour, materials, equipment and subcontractors
Monitor and control the progress, quality and costs of the project
Liaise with the client, consultants, architects and engineers
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies
Report any issues or problems to the project manager
Maintain accurate records and documentation of the site activities


What you'll need to succeed


A valid CSCS card, SMSTS certificate and First Aid certificate
Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
A strong attention to detail and quality
A flexible and adaptable approach to work
