Your new company
Our client is a leading contractor with the capacity to build projects up to £100million in Scotland. With a focus on the key market sectors of education, community and institutional they have a very sustainable pipeline of work for their employees to deliver. They are now looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to their business.


Your new role
As Senior Estimator, reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for the management and compilation of tenders for large complex design and build construction projects in Scotland. These projects are typically in the range of £5 to £100million and the client base is typically demanding, sophisticated and knowledgeable. Working with your internal team of planners, design managers and precon managers you will be responsible for preparing professional and comprehensive tenders for new build and refurbishment projects. You will work with our client's supply chain to establish a competitive price point for each package and ensure that your tender has a realistic chance of success in this framework driven market. You will be working with highly experienced construction professionals, and you will be expected to add value as quickly as possible once you commence.


What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Estimator with an established track record of success working for a reputable main contractor. They will consider applications from estimators with significant relevant market experience seeking to accelerate their career into a senior role. You will have experience of working with estimating software and are comfortable communicating with senior people in your current role.
