Senior Estates Surveyor - Oxfordshire

As a Senior Estates Surveyor you will join an award-winning local authority based in Oxfordshire, your work helping to build a world-class environment.


Your new role
You will take a lead in the delivery of all aspects of estates management, include negotiation of lease renewals, rent reviews and valuation activity. As a Senior Estates Surveyor, you will support the asset management leadership team to minimise outgoing and maximise income from the portfolio. You will be able to help review the portfolio, and provide input to support the council achieve longer term, strategic visions for the commercial estate.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this position, you will need to have prior experience delivering landlord and tenant work to a senior level previously, ideally demonstrating work for another local authority or public sector agency in this capacity. A degree in property, estates management or similar will be important, as will chartered membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.


What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an initial contract with up to three months in duration - this contract is likely to extend further, equally there is a high likelihood of transferring into a permanent position if this type fo employment could be of interest. A daily rate of £400 - £410 per day is available, paid on a weekly basis for the duration of your contract period.
