Your new company
You will be joining an established Civil Engineering main contractor based in Derby working on high-value power and industrial schemes. This multi-accredited company has a strong pipeline of work across a multitude of different sectors, delivering multi-million-pound projects for a diverse range of high-profile clients. This organisation also operates across multiple frameworks and due to continued success, they are looking to onboard an Estimator to join their pre-construction team.


Your new role
As Estimator, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, reviewing and analysing tender documentation, pricing estimates, producing tender programmes, handling subcontractor and supplier enquiries, liaising with clients and the contracts department, supervising the work of junior staff when required as well as conducting site visits and assessments.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will be able to estimate from first principles and have previous experience estimating on Civils schemes, ideally in the power and/or industrial sectors. In addition, you will be computer-literate and proficient with Microsoft Office. Finally, you will be commercially and contractually aware, and possess strong interpersonal skills.


What you'll get in return
