The housing department is a multidisciplinary department that has the responsibility of overseeing the delivery of housing projects and meeting housing compliance regulations and standards.
Your new role
Your role as CDM Projects Support Officer / Principle Designer is to develop robust systems for ensuring Housing Managements compliance with the CDM regulations and undertake PD responsibilities as detailed in CDM regulations. You will be a key player within the team, working alongside various departments maintaining reasonable assurance of the contractors, and consultants including appointed Principal Designer. You will be providing your knowledge and expertise to front-line project managers, assistant project managers and procurement officers. You will be supporting other members of the team when required, this will be across the £250 million of works to be delivered in the next seven years. You will also be providing subject matter expertise guidance and training.
What you'll need to succeed

  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety or General
  • Proven experience/track record in a CDM/PD related position and the ability to demonstrate this
  • Certified membership i.e. IOSH (equivalent or better).
